“Comfort” is inspired by the works of artists Vincent Cy Chen, Naudline Pierre, and Berthe Morisot. This piece combines the alien forms and bright colors of Chen, the emotional interactions and winged figures of Pierre, and the loose sketch-like brushwork of Morisot. While the forms and colors are fantastical and otherworldly, the piece showcases an intimate moment of connection that feels deeply human and achingly familiar.
