Jomon Pot

“Jomon Pot” is a recreation of a traditional Japanese Jomon-style pot from 2000 BCE. The artist viewed the original pot in person, conducted in-depth research on its history, gathered reference images, and replicated it to the best of their ability. This piece was hand-built using coils and textured using a rope, the same methods used for the original pot.
